Asmalı Cave House

Irem was a wonderful host, charming and friendly, made sure we were comfortable. House is made like a cave we had an amazing time.

Weather was little warm but irem provided us with a fan.

Bedroom needs air conditioning with climate change. Bed a bit hard. Shower head needs replacing. So does the dishwasher

The home was amazing! Perfect accommodation for our group of friends to experience a "cave hotel" in Cappadocia. We loved being in sweet little Uchisar rather than the super touristy Gorume.

When arriving and sightseeing by car, it's super tricky to maneuver on the only way to the home...a narrow, cobblestone road.

The place was wonderful! Big and spacious, in the mysterious cave, cozy firleplace, many little charming details. The owner was very helpful, nice and friendly.

We have little struggle handling with the fireplace, but maybe because of weather conditions that time.

Staying in a cave is a unique experience and loved by my family. We had full access to the roof and views along with a lovely breakfast to eat outside.

Location was a bit difficult to find, but assistance was given. The roads are very steep and narrow if you are driving and staying in Uchisar (no fault of the accommodation though)

An exceptionally beautiful home. We didn't want to leave and in fact extended our stay. A property full of history, character and charm with designer touches. Our host Irene was on hand to help with our every need. The house was cleaned everyday and a fire layed. Breakfast was a full continental spread with fresh bread from the market, touches like biscuits, cakes, fresh fruit and water were replenished every day. Topped off with a stunning roof terrace to take in the fairy tale views. We had an amazing stay. A great base outside the busier village of Goreme but within striking distance.

Nothing - beyond our expectations.

The property is very well maintained. The host Irem is super friendly and you can just whatsapp for any help and she will arrange it. We travelled as 2 two couples with 2 kids and the kids really enjoyed playing in the main living room. Our house had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms which was really comfortable for a group of our size. The property also has its own terrace which is a nice place to hangout as a group. In the morning, you can remotely see the hot air balloons as well. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend this place.

When we arrived we met Irem - she is the manager and owner of this place. She has 3 houses and we were the only occupants for those days. the rooms were spacious. the fridge was stocked with options for breakfast - Mainly - cheese, eggs, ham, and preserves. If you are a vegetarian/vegan you need to mention this way ahead. She took us around the city and showed us many places nearby. She also helped us with the balloon ride and airport transfers. the rooms were cozy and comfortable. Lots of pillows and a place to move around. quaint corners to read and a fireplace. Totally worth a visit.
