Vaxholm Seaview Cottage

Perfect location for ferries to other islands. A well stocked Coop grocery store and multiple fika opportunities are nearby. Very warm and informative welcome from the owner to their comfortable cottage. There are several restaurants also nearby or everything you need to cook for two is available in the cottage kitchen.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Vaxholm! It was the perfect mix of coziness and modern comfort, making our anniversary weekend truly special. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the utensils for cooking, and the barbecue was a great addition for grilling in the evenings. The fireplace made it extra cozy, and the owner even sold us firewood, so we could enjoy a warm fire throughout our stay. The heating in the cottage kept us comfortable, and the heated bathroom floor was a luxurious touch—especially in the mornings! The living room was a highlight, with a stunning view of Vaxholm Harbour right from the couch. There was also a modern sound system and a smart TV, so we could relax with our favorite music and movies in the evenings. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep, and we loved spending time on the beautiful terrace. The location couldn’t be better! The cottage is right next to a Coop supermarket, so we could easily pick up anything we needed. It’s also just a 3-minute walk to the center of Vaxholm, where we enjoyed exploring the local restaurants and cafés. Plus, Battery Park is only a 10-minute walk away, offering breathtaking sea views—an absolute must-visit! This cottage was the perfect place for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

The bed could do with some more pillows (nice to have two each), and plumper better quality pillows. Some of the kitchen equipment needs updating - a better toaster, a few more glasses of better sizes (for serving longer drinks) also would be nice if had 4 wine glasses so four adults can all have a glass (currently only three). A thicker blackout blind in the bedroom would be good to block the early daylight from Sweish summer sky.

This charming seaview cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed cozy evening watching Harry Potter movies collection, sitting next to the fireplace.

Duvets and pillows are of poor quality, not enough pillows. Chech-out time at 10:00 is a bit early.
