Carpe Diem

We had a fantastic stay! The house is very comfortable, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Highly satisfied and would definitely recommend!

Bathroom upstairs was a bit slippery when wet. Another ensuite did not have a proper shower cubicle so water splashes out.

Loved the house. It was a real home, full of character. Personal and quirky touches throughout. All the magnificent paintings are painted by the owner’s mom. My husband loved the sound system. Everything great - in fact I think I could live there!! Owner so helpful throughout. Thank you for our stay 🙏

Small thing - no dishwasher.

What an amazing place. From the information received prior to arrival, to the property itself. The place is immaculate, with a well stocked kitchen and amazing outdoor spaces. Bedrooms are comfy, all with an en-suite and a/c. The town is lovely with some great restaurants to visit. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

Nothing, a perfect holiday retreat.

My sisters and I had a beautiful stay at Carpe Diem, and we were sad to be leaving. The house was ample in size but still felt homely. The pool was crystal clear and a welcome relief from the heat. The location was perfect, just a short, easy walk to the square. Any questions asked were answered promptly by the owner. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

The farmhouse was larger than expected, spotlessly clean and the pool area was amazing with gas barbecue too. Loved the patio upstairs. We stayed in the top bedroom and loved the stone spiral staircase to the top. Excellent location, loved it all and would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very large house with lots of space Outside terrace and pool area would be lovely in the summer but was too cold to use in Spring Full kitchen and lots of facilities Good distance to some brilliant restaurants Would be good for families with older children (not toddlers)

There is a log burger/fire in the living room and it made our clothes smell of smoke as the sofas smelt of smoke (we didn’t use it) The beds and pillows were also quite uncomfortable unfortunately so we didn’t have the best sleep there. It’s not very toddler or baby safe as there are lots of very steep concrete steps. We ended up not using the main room at the top as the stairs were too narrow and steep for our toddler. The other rooms were better.

Beautiful authentic home - spacious and nice decorated with well stocked kitchen.

There was some messing around to get hot water and access to the washing machine but the host was quick to sort this out

Huge place,stunning pool area and great location just 10 mins walk to the square where all the restaurants and bars are. Close to bus stop also.

Everything was great

Spacious accomodation with lovely pool area. Great kitchen with all the things needed to prepare meals. Living and bedrooms set over 3 floors, lovely stone walls. Top floor bedroom accessed by tight spiral staircase, so a bit restricted for elderly or less mobile guests but the other 2 rooms are good on the first floor.

We needed to chase up access information to the property, we didn’t to receive anything prior to our arrival. We were at the house waiting for details and messaging the owner… this was a bit stressful for our group. We were then sent details for access and instructions re operating things in the house, after chasing. The showers have no screens/curtains so when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet. The smallest bathroom floods under the door in to the bedroom due to this issue, but we managed to sort this out with a towel under the door - not too bad, just FYI.
