Immaculate Gower Getaway with Pool & Facilities

Very clean and comfortable. Shower good, kitchen well stocked. Beds comfortable and pillows lovely.

Would have been good to have had Netflix. Field behind the property tends to be local hang out for teenagers so had to keep windows shut to alleviate noise. An otherwise quiet site. Would also be helpful to have some notes on what to do with rubbish and also how oven works.

No Wi-Fi anywhere on site. And oven kept locking. No instructions pack. In end gave up and didn’t use.

Shame the pub next door closed down

It was a lovely apartment, lovely homely feeling and touches were spot on - tea, coffee,, milk and some delicious Welsh cakes on arrival was a great touch. Beds were really comfy, shower was great and having a fully equipped kitchen made it really easy for us to cater. Very much enjoyed having some plastic cups for the kids too. The only downside was we booked as the pool stated it was open "all year round" but it is closed Oct. to April. If you need a place to eat The King Arthur has fantastic food and amazing value for money - recommend the steak and ale pie.

The pool was closed. No handy takeaways near by that were open. Not much else that we didn't like. We stayed slightly out of season so didn't expect much.

We love the Gower Holiday Village, having visited many times over the years. This unit is immaculate, beautifully decorated, warm and cosy and in a quiet corner of the village. There is a full sized fridge-freezer and lots of thoughtful little extras provided as a welcome pack. I also loved the "crab" shaped towels on arrival. There is a well-stocked shop out by the entrance that stocks a wide range of local and regional specialties including the amazing Gower Gelato ice cream. All this and you are less than 10 minutes from Rhossili, slightly longer to Oxwich, Three Cliffs Bay etc. We stayed over Christmas and can highly recommend visiting in the winter months as well as the busier other seasons. Our hosts were also incredibly responsive and helpful.

Not that it bothered us at all, but the table has high bar stools which might not work for everyone. Fine for adults but possibly not so great with young children.
