Villa Ideal

Beautiful outlook to the mountains; quiet and secluded swimming pool - a real highlight; very welcoming and helpful hosts who communicate very well and respond quickly to requests.

The bbq wasn’t particularly inviting. We had been looking forward to that, but it left us disappointed. It wasn’t very clean and it came with nothing. A starter pack would be nice, or even the option to prepay for fuel/lighters etc? The outdoor space is fantastic so it could be a real selling point. That was the only negative, everything else was great.

We were thrilled with our stay at Villa Ideal. Maria, the host, fulfilled any requests we had and was easy to contact. The villa itself has the most beautiful views of the mountains and is the perfect place to spent the day lazing by the pool, and having a BBQ. It is around a 15 minute walk into the town of Soller - it has some nice shops to walk around and lovely restaurants in the town square. The port is about a 10 minute drive away - I would suggest hiring a car as taxis are quite difficult to get hold of, unless booked in advance (Maria can pass on a company she recommends). Would definitely stay here again and excellent value for money. Thank you Maria!

More of a heads up than a negative - to use the A/C in the main bedroom, you need to go to 'AIR FLOW' and scroll through until you find the snowflake symbol. We melted for a day or two before realising this. Also, for some reason, some of the blue paint was coming off the pool and onto our skin/swimwear. We notified Maria and she said she would speak to the technicians. It wasn't harmful and easy to remove in the shower.

The location was excellent. We didn't hire a car as it is an easy walk into the town and the buses went all over the island. It is also right on the GR221 for hiking and great to relax afterwards by the pool. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to contact.

Just some minor repairs needed to the bathroom door ( swollen due to the heat ) and more sockets in the kitchen would have been useful but nothing really to spoil our stay.

This was absolutely one of the most amazing views I have ever experienced in a rented house. We loved everything. We didn’t rent a car since the town of Soller easerly can be reached by walking. The garden is amazing with citrus, oranges and figs. We made fresh orange juice everyday out of oranges from the garden. The pool was a bit to cool for the grown ups since we unfortunately didn’t have the best weather, but My daughter enjoyed it very much. Here you can hear the birds, some dogs in the distance and just the Spanish local life. We enjoyed being at distance to the more hectic tourist life in downtown Soller. Bring a Chrome cast so you can stream the tv you want to see. The wifi worked very well both inside and out in the garden. Maria is the most carring host. She will help you with all the needs you might have. She even reached out to me during our stay, just to ask if everything was fine. Thank you Maria. We will for sure come back to this wonderful spot in Soller.

The Kitchen is a bit small, but it have everything you need. So I really don’t have anything negative to say.

Everything. Perfect location in a peaceful area yet just a 10 minute walk to centre of Soller. Amazing views from the property and a great outside space that was secluded. loved the smell from the orange and lemon trees and sitting on the balcony. Maria was a fantastic host and easy to contact. The villa was immaculate inside and beds very comfortable.

Villa Ideal is located in the perfect spot! Away from touristy noise, but only just 10 min walk to the very centre of Soller. It has outstanding views of the mountains all around. I just loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the mountains with my morning coffee. Outside space is where we spend most of our time. Lovely pool, great patio area( both covered , and uncovered) . Plenty of space regardless weather you want to sit in full sun or in a shade. Just 5 min walk to the local supermarket( be aware of siesta hours), 15 min walk to the main bus station where you can catch the transport to Port de soller or Palma. So convenient and easy! Very nice and responsive owners.

Nothing really. A few DIY jobs maybe needed around the house. However we spend most of our time out and about or in the pool. So we didn’t mind anything. As a matter of fact we booked another stay in the villa for next year before we even finished our holidays.
