House in beach- Oporto

Loved the location. Roomy house with nice sized bedrooms. The beds were comfortable.

A few items required attention such as the loose toilet seat and cracked window.

House was excellently located, just meters to the beach and the views were great. Could hear the waves crashing at night.

The beach being on your doorstep! Gorgeous sunsets, the sound of the ocean. Kitchen and house well equipped, including stuff for the beach. Several terraces. The shutters blocked out the light very effectively so kept the place cool, and we could sleep in! Supermarket and restaurants were very close by and well stocked, in easy walking distance. We had a fabulous time rock pooling, jumping the giant waves and relaxing in the cove area where the sea is designed to be calmer. All within a stones throw from the apartment.

Would have been good to know about the midnight fireworks during our stay due to the locals celebrations. People do gather outside to chat into the late hours and depending on ocean noise they can raise their voices (or are a little drunk!) Some of the beach/decking equipment was damaged, and the dishwasher didn't wash very well - we tried several settings/packed sparingly/ cleaned the filter but still not great. There was a small water leak from the bottom of the fridge which needed regular mopping as the kids kept slipping on it.

It was a great location with a beautiful sunset view. There are lots of little restaurants nearby. We loved having a fireplace. The kitchen is pretty well furnished.

Some of the supplies were a little low and we had to replace some items We weren't able to get the stove top to work as well.
