The Bank in Bakewell is by far the BEST holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. The location is in central Bakewell with lots of lovely pubs and shops within a few minutes of the front door. Chatsworth and lots of other walks and days out are also all within a short drive. The property itself is beautifully renovated and decorated, the underfloor heating is lovely, and all of the little touches to the history of the place are so well considered. Hannah, the host, is incredibly helpful and all in all it feels like you’re staying in a fantastic hotel rather than a holiday let. The place is absolutely faultless!!

"Wonderfully quirky, beautifully finished unique place to stay I’d return to in a heartbeat."

Quirky beautifully finished property with great extra touches. Underfloor heating in the showers was fab.

The lounge was a little chilly in the evenings and would benefit from a little fire for added cosiness.

"Perfect accommodation in a central location in the pretty town of Bakewell, very close to Chatsworth"

The location was in the centre of Bakewell and parking was only a few minutes walk away, perfect. The property was beautiful, stylish and comfortable. The little extras like a couple of beers, milk, cake etc are a nice touch and there was everything you could want for a stay in self catering accommodation. We were delighted when we arrived and have already recommended it to friends and family. Contact with Hannah was excellent throughout. Hope to be back sometime.

Nothing I can think of it was perfect for us.
