Villa du Lagon

Nothing except the beautiful beach in front of the house. Just wish I did not have to navigate between tortoise feces to get to the beach.

Aircon did not work. Reported on arrival. Host attempted to fix but did not work for our entire stay. No stove on first day. New stove delivered on 2nd day. Almost everything in the cottage is old and falling apart including wood termites eating up the cupboards etc. The cottage smells damp and seems moldy.

Superb location, you walk out of the garden and your on the Lagoon, with amazing views! Tortoise in the garden, great stay!

The location was fantastic. The host Frederick and staff were very helpful and polite. The bungalow was clean and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful location on a picture perfect beach. Direct access to the very private beach. The villa is within walking distance of several restaurants and the host was easy to reach and offered some advice too. We spent most of our days on excursions and it was a convenient spot to experience the beauty of the east coast. Great time of year to visit too as the water is warm and it's not too windy.

For families planning to cook I think the kitchen could have been better equipped. although the Nespresso machine was a nice treat. If you're travelling with young kids the rope banister on the staircase may be a worry.

This place was great. It was The most comfortable and The cleanest place we visited in Mauritius. There is a giant turtle in garden which was awesome and The sea outside is The best for snorkeling. We saw more sea life there then on a snorkeling trip. Will definatelly return. Thank you again also for late checkout which helped me a lot with children. Please make better pictures online, this place is so much nicer in reality. Its walking distance from Bamboo restaurant - one of The best meals we had in Mauritius. Try also The pizza.
