Excellent situation for us to visit family and spend time in Lerwick. It was cosy as described and our hosts were really friendly and welcoming

The sofa and chairs were too big for the bedroom as you needed to move them around for 4 people to watch the tv

Comfortable and spacious self-contained upstairs apartment. Views over the nearby voe. Good coastal walks nearby and a short drive from the Mousa boat pier. Very welcoming and friendly owners, who lived downstairs.

Not a big deal, but the electric cooker was quite old fashioned and the hob rings very slow to heat up and cool down. So cooking was a bit of a learning curve at first but we got the hang of it after a day or two. Otherwise the kitchen was very well appointed with fridge, small freezer, washing machine, microwave, etc. No need for a drier with the Shetland wind and a washing line outside!

Clean and tidy accommodation in a lovely location

The apartment was ideal for our purpose (two visiting bird watchers) and situated right next to Aith Voe. There is a very large bedroom with a double bed. This also has chairs and a sofa with TV. A smaller bedroom has two single bed. The kitchen is well equipped with a dining table and another TV. The hosts Margaret and Tommy were very friendly and welcoming.
