"Great time visiting friends from when my parents used to live in the village."

Excellent location, close to the beach and amenities within the village. The instructions on which caravan on the site do need updating as an additional 4 caravans have been added. Fortunately we know the site extremely well.

Nothing - it was all exactly as described.

"Berghead and Beach Hut is a must!"

We loved the location because it was right on the doorstep to the beach. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and warm. When we arrived after a long drive of over 7 hours, the hamper of goodies/wine/flowers were extremely appreciated and delicious!! We would most definitely recommend Berghead and staying in the Beach Hut. It's definitely 0 home from home.

The only thing we didn't like...was having to leave after an amazing, stress free week of walking and relaxing!!

We love the Beach Hut! It’s always cosy, clean, welcoming, great location, good facilities, lovely personal touches, beautifully decorated for Christmas for us it’s a home away from home.

"Peaceful and relaxing trip with my dog."

Property was very clean and everything felt quite new. Lovely personal touches too. So close to the beach and loved the sound of the waves through the night.

Only slight issue was location of recycling bins so close to the property although there wasn’t as much noise as feared.

"Warm and cosy in September"

Everything worked! Weather changes quickly in Burghead in September. The heating was straightforward. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty space in the living room, the cooker was excellent.

I was happy with everything.

"Heavenly Beach Hut"

The Beach Hut was a beautiful oasis set in a fabulous location. There was a beautiful beach, wonderful woods, a lovely harbour, a quaint little town and an amazing pictish fort. The Beach Hut was luxurious and had everything including a nice big veranda with an area to hang washing. We loved it and would recommend to all - heaven!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

"Exceptional"

Perfect location, right next to the beautiful sandy beach. Clean and comfortable accommodation with a really nice, spacious decking area that is perfect for sitting out in the sun. Lots of stunning walks right on the doorstep - hardly needed the car.
