Villa Celeste

That villa was amazing...the location was amazing! And the owner, Fabio was absolutely amazing...we were late to our original check-in due to flight delays, but he was there when we arrived and was so friendly and kind. His hospitality was incredible throughout the entire weekend. Ready to answer any questions I had and provided perfect recommendations on restaurants and other activities.

The Booking website does not allow to give a higher rating than 10/10...this place is definitely a 10+ and a must stay!

Of course the location. Away from crowds. But close enough to get into the city 15 minutes. Poette beach 10 minutes away. The owner Fabio, helped us with everything. He was awesome. The sound of the waves put us to sleep every night. Back next year.

Everything

It is RIGHT ON THE WATER. Full privacy, so you can suntan however you want. The host, Fabio, is AMAZING, will give you recommendations for food, attractions, and help you however he can. Would book again.

Fabio met us at the villa and introduced us to everything. He makes sure his guests are comfortable and have all the information that is necessary (and more!) for their stay. The villa is a very unique property. It's not in the main city center, but is in a location that is magical. It is literally right near the water and allows access to swim and to two remote beaches in crystal clear water. Fabio provides water shoes which are necessary for the rocks. He was there to make sure all our needs and questions were met. The villa is only a 10 minute drive to the city center. and is super clean and has everything you need. Highly recommend this location if you want to visit Cagliari!

We wished we could have stayed longer!!

Beautiful location. Host was extremely helpful and friendly during our trip! Access to sea right outside apartment and private beach less than 2 minute walk.

Booking said it included a hot tub however no hot tub available at time of stay. But this wasn’t a big deal for us as beach is so close.

Host was gracious and kind.

very poor value at $250 per night. photos and description were not accurate. We were expecting at least a window with a view in the main bedroom. the room itself looked like a converted storage unit.

Dave and I loved everything about our stay! Fabio is an excellent, super friendly helpful host, who made us feel so welcomed! Then, there is chabby Fabio’s 4-legged right hand dog! I had fun helping him find lizards one morning he made the stay feel even more like home! The property is beautifully maintained and right at the seafront! Our villa had a very nice kitchenette and private access to the seafront and our own outdoor space, nothing better then enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the waves and watching the sunset! If you like to hike/kayak it’s all right here, Villa Celeste has kayaks that are available for guests plus, there is a fabulous hillside with the most amazing views from the top, if you look closely you will find WW2 bunkers and old ruins on your hike. The property is located outside if Cagliari, we recommend renting a car (we learned the hard way taxis are hard to come by) There is a small town that has a nice grocery that is within walking distance and a few local restaurants nearby. Sardinia is wonderful! If you are planning a trip there and have a few night to stay in Cagliari away from the cruise ships and tourist spots, Villa Celeste would be our 1st choice again and again.

Nothing! Just that we did not take Fabio’s advice and rent a car. Coming from Brooklyn, NY we are used to walking or taking public transport. My recommendation, listen to Fabio & get a car.😉

Fabio was FABULOUS! One of the best getaway vacations we have ever had... and we travel alot! Fabio answered and attended to our every need. He did a little shopping for us as we arrived late in the evening so that we had breakfast items in the morning. His recommendations for restaurant were spot on! The sea was our backyard...we were 10 steps away from the Med! The location is perfect and Cagliari is a great place to visit. We loved this trip and hope to return within a year! Grazie Fabio!
