Canllefaes Cottages

We had a wonderful stay at Pen Y Bryn cottage in Canllefaes and truly didn’t want to leave. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect, and the owners thoughtfully provided everything we needed. Our pup had a fantastic time on his first holiday, enjoying endless fun in the enclosed dog field. The cottage is ideally situated close to amenities and great dining options. We particularly loved our visit to Cardigan Island Farm, which was perfect for both dogs and families. The Flat Iron restaurant was a delightful recommendation—thank you! Evenings were blissful, relaxing in the hot tub. We can’t wait to return!

Just a note for those planning to bring dogs: the gardens for the cottages are not enclosed. This wasn't a major issue for us, as our pup is still young and we use a long line, but it would have been helpful to know in advance. That said, this won’t stop us from coming back!

The location was perfect for our needs. The peace and quiet is perfect.

The oven & hob needed a good deep clean, the lounge had dust and sweet wrappers underneath the furniture. House keeping wasn’t the best.

Loved Everything!!, lovely well kept gardens, own parking spot, heated pool, lovely outside seating,with firepit to watch the sun go down, beautiful well equipped clean cottage, comfortable bed, peaceful location, only 10/15 minutes to shops, beautiful beaches, lovely owners..and dog friendly too...perfect!!..Would highly recommend to everyone 😀

Coming home 😕

Peaceful location, immaculate accommodation and well equipped with everything needed for a self catering break. Heated pool available and table tennis. Some cottages with hot tub but none left when I booked but not a deal breaker for me. The location was more important to me, Cardigan just a few minutes down the road, Tesco even closer and so many stunning beaches within close commute.

If I have to be picky, a longer sofa would have been nice, for some evening lounging :)
