Lake Dunstan Cottage - Cromwell Holiday Home

位置絕佳，面對高爾夫球場，旁邊是兒童遊戲場及足球場。鄰近河邊步道，距離Cromwell heritage precinct 及New World超市僅約一公里。 雖然屋齡高，但是保養的好，保溫及隔音極佳。衛浴及廚房都更換為最新的設備。家庭用具的等級高，而且數量足，極為實用和順手。裝潢典雅，牆上掛了美麗珍貴的照片。我們度過非常舒適的十天假期。

This newly renovated house was perfect for our weekend in Cromwell. The kitchen was fully stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, utensils ect. Much more so than most AIRBNB accommodations. This place has everything you need. Beds were comfortable. Shower was amazing,. Stunning location, viw was lovely. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Only thing I would ask is that a kitchen spray for cleaning would be provided, laundry powder for washing and maybe bodywash for the shower.

The house was roomy and comfortably furnished.

The beds in the second and third bedrooms were either too hard or too soft. Some soap for the shower and washing machine would have been helpful

Close to amenities and good value for money

Loved the location and that the park and lake are a stone throw away. Perfect for families, especially with small children. It was amazing. The new BMX track just up the street was a huge hit with our kids age 6 and 4.

Only downside was the bedding, very clean and tidy but on all beds it is polyester and was not comfortable to sleep in.

Not clear whether my booking included linen and towels Received 2 different codes for lockbox so couldn't get it open initially. Gas ran out so ran out of hot water in shower. Figured it out, (tap needed to be turned on,) but one of us missed out on hot shower. Pity there wasn't a carport as we were on motorbikes (not vital but would have been good)

We all liked the ambience of the place and the modern yet old-world feel to the house. It was quiet and warm. The facilities were all modern and very clean. None of us really liked the gas cooker and it took a measure of courage to overcome our fears to use it. Thankfully it is easy to use. We also found that we spent a lot of time at the house - instead of going into town for dinner, at the end of the day, we shopped for food and cooked and stayed in because it was so relaxing.

The single beds were too narrow for adults and not very comfortable.

House was very comfortable. It was very cold while we were there but the heat pump and fireplace were excellent. Lots of space in the house for a family to stay

- all of the duvets had plastic protectors on them which made a crinkly noise and were not at all breathable. I sleep with the room temp cool and woke up sweating every night. A cotton protector would be much nicer, I wouldn’t stay again for that sole reason, it really disrupted our sleep. - a small thing but as the house can sleep a family could it do with a larger size saucepan - As you need the heaters on all night in winter, it would be good to have smoke alarms in the bedrooms
