"A beautiful cottage and great location for exploring the Scottish borders."

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and very clean, has everything you would want for a relaxing holiday. Sleeps up to four very comfortably in two bedrooms, both being en-suite. A fantastic spa facility which includes a hot tub, sauna, cold shower and changing facilities with toilet and hot shower is available to book and use during your stay. The chickens that roam freely in the grounds will keep anyone amused!

Everything was perfect. The only very small point to make is during heavy rain when it’s warm, you can’t have the velux windows open in the back bedroom and en-suite without risk of water coming in.

"Ideal place for R&R"

Everything you could possibly need. Very clean and comfortable. Beds, linen, pillows and duvets were superb. Excellent outdoor seating area. Fully equipped kitchen with all you need to cook and prepare food. Added bonus of wood burner in the lounge, making it extremely cosy in the late evenings when the temperatures dropped. We especially enjoyed the company of the delightful chickens when we were outside, they’re so funny!!!

"Great place go for it"

It was snug but with lots of room, everything was there. Lovely and warm with gigantic beds and comfortable duvets. Home location and really central for all the wonderful towns in the area.

Only caution if you are tallish be careful of your head 🤣🤣

"Superb"

The cottage was gorgeous and felt so homely. We felt at ease and it had everything we needed. The beds were so comfy and the link provided with all of the information on was so useful!

There was nothing we didn't like, but with two mischievous puppies, the gaps in the fence were a potential issue. It wouldn't stop us coming back though!

Good central location for exploring region. Peaceful and quiet setting. Nice pub with good food and drink and friendly hosts. Fresh eggs for sale at gate.
