Location was superb, easy access to Ortigia and many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and beautifully decorated.

Could have benefited from an extra pillow and could have done with more storage for clothes for longer stays.

Well equipped, kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable bed

Low lighting, dim throughout. Needed better lighting in bathroom. No instructions for bedroom heating. No comfortable sofa area. Difficult to relax other than on the bed. Communal entrance to property and hallway are untidy and need cleaning up.

- The bathroom truly needs work. The showerhead needs to be replaced and the water goes all over the place without a proper door. There also isn’t much hot water and it’s just not a great experience overall. - Nothing dries in the apartment unless you park your towels right in front of the radiator. Therefore we had quite a few smelly towels by the end of two weeks. - the bathroom vanity area is really dark and the sink just spills water all over the floor if you make one wrong move.

The location of this place is fantastic—everything in town is walkable within about 10 minutes, and the décor is beautiful with a surprisingly large, comfortable layout. We were really excited about it.

We unfortunately couldn’t stay due to an overwhelming mildew/sewage toxic smell that made the space feel unsafe and unlivable. I will say the host was extremely responsive and refunded us immediately, which we appreciated. I’m not sure if the odor issue has been resolved since, but if it ever is, I would absolutely consider trying this place again because it has so much potential.
