Finca El Almendrillo

The Finca is beautiful! It is well organised by Steve and Carmen. With Toni also being super helpful locally. We stayed as 3 families, 13 in total, and there was plenty of space. The property is amazing, beautifully decorated throughout with a real rustic theme. The pool is amazing, the pictures don't do it justice, it's huge. There were plenty of sunbeds for us all to use. My favourite spot was the outside sofas around the side of the property where you have a view across the mountains in the region, one of the best views I've ever had. There is no air-conditioning at the property but due to the make up of the building and fans in every room even with 35°c temperatures i was comfortable at night. The property is a little remote, but if you are looking for something in the rural end of Spain that is to he expected. There is a bar/restaurant a short drive away which opens Wednesday to Sunday. As well as a very small shop for essentials. There are supermarkets around a 25 minute drive away. The property has plenty of space to store food for a long stay so we just did a big shop and were set for the week. Visit lake andalucia in iznajar for a nice day out, huge fresh water lake with pedalos and kayaks to hire. Nice sandy beach and sunbeds and a little stand for drinks and snacks. Also iznajar old town for the beautiful scenery and some small restaurants (siesta is 2 - 5pm) An amazing property run by amazing people. Thank you so much

Nothing major, but the pool table could use a little attention for the kids

The location was absolutely stunning with lots of pretty seating areas to make the most of the views and the finca itself. The property was beautiful, quirky, decorated with authentic details and charm and had everything we needed for a family of 15 (9 adults, 3 teens and 3 older children). The 2 separate kitchens and 3 large fridges, also came in handy for our large family. There were plenty of different seating and chilling areas within the property as well as outside. We all enjoyed the games and activities available around the property too. The swimming pool was our absolute highlight (along with the views)- large and well maintained and kept us all thoroughly entertained. At night, without the light pollution, the stars were also a magical experience and watching the sunrise over the landscape was equally amazing. We all had the best time, would definitely go back again and would highly recommend, thank you!

I wouldn't say that we didn't like, but be prepared with your shopping, as the nearest supermarket is about a 30 minute drive away, but we enjoyed the landscape on the drive :) Also Booking.com says on their website that the owners will be in touch about one week before with all the info. I started to worry as hadn't heard anything, however the owners made contact the evening before we were to arrive, and then sent all the information we needed.

The Finca is really beautiful and huge. We have been a group of 17 people and it was really nice. Great sleeping rooms, kitchen and further facilities. The highlight is the pool area. Awesome view and the pool is huge. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend a booking.

Amazing house, perfect swimming pool and views

Lovely Villa, situated in a beautiful location.

The pool was one that of the main reasons we booked this Villa, however a few days before our Holiday the owner informed us it was not available due to a leak. However, it was clear works had been ongoing on the pool with filters being replaced and we feel we had been misled on this. Though the owner arranged use of another pool at a different villa, it was much smaller and not the same. Disappointed.
