Makmur homestay

The house is very clean and well maintained. The host texted us the codes to the key box before we arrive at the property. Coffee/Tea making facilities were provided as well as some cookies too. The speed of WIFI was very fast too! The small garden balcony on the 1st floor is very nice, the views of the mountains were great!

There are 2 bathrooms on the 1st floor and 1 on the groundfloor. Only the bathroom in the master bedroom has a water heater, so if you don't mind showering with cold water then it's ok, but for this stay, we all had to take turns to shower in the master bedroom.

sofa was a little dirty, fridge needed emptying and cleaning, and only a single roll of toilet paper provided for a family of 6

The house was very spacious, although there were just 4 of us, the host supplied many extra towels & furnished the house as though there were more guests. Extra pillows, beddings, blankets were also available in the cupboard though we didn't need them. We could also make drinks (local 3in1 & black coffee were also available. We did our laundry using the liquid detergent we brought from home.. Apart from the washing machine placed in the sufficiently spacious laundry area, the host also prepared powder detergent in case we need them. It was truly a nice & warm homestay. Tq for the hospitality.. 🙏

I think it would be good if the host can place dome slippers in the bathrooms & supply some toilet rolls too.. There were some really big bugs in the laundry area as well as some roaches in the laundry & kitchen area. Other than that, everything else was good..

The balcony and settee, and the free snacks provided by the host.

The squatting toilet downstairs is not elderly friendly. We had our 90 year old mother with us and she has to go upstairs to use the bathroom. Perhaps this should be stated in the description of the property for future guests who may have elderly members traveling with them.
