Northern Lights

It was simply a little slice of heaven! Gorgeous views, well equipped house and great communication with the owner.

When we had to leave!

Washer/dryer. Magnificent view. Well appointed kitchen. Coal fireplace that was ready to light.

Steep to 2nd floor. For people from the US, the use of AC power wall switches to enable bathroom hot water is unusual and not intuitive.

The location is great. Bed was comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything you need including tea, coffee sachets and washing up liquid. Toiletries provided in bathrooms. Private parking at rear of the property.

House appears tired outside and in. Front door peeling, planters full of weeds and stones and doormat worm out. Entrance porch, dowdy and bare paintwork chipped and dirty marks on walls. Electrical wiring looks strange and covered by curtain pelmet. Living room had dead bugs in the ceiling light, peeling paper on the ceiling and wall, walls marked and dirty, dust on skirting and plug sockets and tv screen needs cleaning. Kitchen walls badly marked and paint peeling above radiator, cracked and broken floor tiles. Upstairs bathroom, bath stained blue??, ceiling above shower head badly cracked. Paintwork on staircase and banisters badly chipped. Overall house feels neglected and in need of some TLC.

It was all lovely. So comfortable and cosy. Ideal location. Lovely views. Ideal space for 6 people and a dog. Everything you needed. Would definitely go back

Absolutely beautiful cottage, we couldn't fault it. Really well equipped, even had spices in the kitchen to use! We absolutely loved staying here and enjoyed the walk to the beach which is across the road.

Fabulous house on the edge of the Loch between Tongue and Talmine. Gorgeous views and everything in the house was great. We enjoyed playing junior Trivial pursuit, the kitchen well equipped and bed rooms lovely and comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but could easily have stayed a lot longer.

I thought the price was really too high. Lovely place but not really £300 per night for 3 of us terri tory.
