Not walking distance to the main town

Very nice owner and family. Great place to stay in a beautiful garden with great pool.

We enjoyed staying in the small villa at Casa le Quiete as it had everything we needed for a restful break where we could look after ourselves. A full kitchen with a washing machine, tiny dishwasher, coffee and tea, fresh veg and eggs from the hosts garden, nice bottle of wine and use of the swimming pool. The owners house is next door with shared gardens which are just lovely, very peaceful, within walking distance across a field, to Torgiano town, takes 15 mins. I would recommend driving to the supermarket which is a few mins away by car, not so easy to get to on foot. The town was just a nice small rural town, nothing of note to see, other than the tower and views from there. Perugia is very close, for a visit. The property is outside the town Torgiano and is accessed by a half mile long stony track. There is only one other property nearby. We chose the place so we could get to Assisi which is easy to drive too, about 20 mins away and well worth a visit. Also for the secure parking of our motorbike, it has electronic gates and good parking, saying that we found safety wasn’t an issue in that area. We didn’t eat out so no recommendations.

We were travelling by motorcycle and the track off the main road to the house was stony and had a very small steep grade before it levels out. This made it tricky to get back onto the main road. We managed, by the pillion going on foot to check for vehicles. Just a small inconvenience really, but to be aware of. You need a car to stay here. Could do with upgrading tv to a smart one to link up with the internet.

Nice and comfortable house with a lovely pool. Welcoming and polite hosts. Good location.

Friendly and helpful host very quick to respond to enquiries or problems if there were any. Bikes available we used to ride to nearby towns. Washing machine an added bonus for travellers like us. Private pool for our use. Fresh fruit , wine and breakfast items provided by our host. Great Enoteca, Wonderumbria, in Torgiano where we had a wonderful meal and went back to buy wine and great local cheese. Lovely knowledgeable owner. Nearby Perugia is a fantastic city to explore.
