Lakeview Lodge

Fantastic house. We spent the weekend here, 6 adults 7 kids, plenty of room, great dining facilities, bbq area, kids had a great time, lots of space to run around. Margaret was a great host and made us feel very welcome. We will be going back for sure 😊

The house is modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen / dining / sitting room area is warm and convivial. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly. There are multiple sitting rooms and a detached recreation room in the back garden, meaning everyone had ample space. The view of the lake was lovely, as were the surrounding walks. There is so much to do in the area, and while you feel off the beaten track, you are well served with activities, takeaways, and taxis.

Lots of space for kids and adults. The hostess had various information for us on arrival including restaurant options, take away's, taxi's etc The outside area was also beautiful and had a lovely BBQ area.

the €300 deposit as we booked other properties through various websites and this wasn't necessary, however I do understand it is needed.

Big house and enough room for 3 families. Quiet surrounding. Nice approach from Margaret. She accompanied us to the nearest lake as our guide.

Some kind of kids activity could be better. Lack of a garden space.

It was an exceptional stay for our annual extended family getaway. Margaret the host was just amazing and even left a surprise for my mum for her birthday! It was so nice and so thoughtful. The house was immaculate, there was so much room for everyone. Just everything about it was top class and we all loved it. So much so that we are planning on coming back again. Thanks so much Margaret for hosting the most wonderful memories for our family.

Our group of 12 adults and 3 children had an exceptional stay at the Lakeview Lodge Holiday Home. The spacious and immaculate accommodations provided ample room for everyone, making it a perfect retreat for our multi-generational family gathering. The picturesque lake view, coupled with the well-maintained grounds, created a serene atmosphere for both relaxation and outdoor activities. The host, Margaret, was warm, welcoming, and attentive to our every need, ensuring that our experience was nothing short of perfect. Lakeview Lodge exceeded all our expectations, providing the ideal setting for quality family time and lasting memories. We wholeheartedly recommend it for a memorable vacation experience!

The only minor drawback at Lakeview Lodge was the timely heating system, which took a bit longer than expected to warm up the space, but it was a small inconvenience in an otherwise delightful stay.
