The pictures matched the house. The house was cleaned, renovated, and had a lot of useful appliances. The village was quiet and beautiful.

The village was farther from Monsaraz than I thought. The soffa was uncomfortable. There was no coffee or tea. We had to buy batteries for the remote ourselves. The host was not very communicative.
