"The place was very welcoming after a long road trip where one could escape from the heat and relax."

Chalet was well-equipped and enjoyed the extras added like coffee available, milk in fridge and bottle of wine. Even spices for meat and wood to braai.

If any activities nearby I would have love to know about it and if it was possible to drive down to the Orange river. We only overnight on the way to a National park and did not bother us that much as we needed a rest from the long drive that day

Burger and Aletta went above and beyond to help, from the booking process to helping us with a tyre problem. The cottage was of a high standard with air conditioning in the Upington heat and for us, just far enough out of town. Highly recommended.
