We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property ... So peaceful & calm environment.. Its an off beat place so we enjoyed being more at the property enjoying the beautiful mountain & lake view from the house.. Our pets loved it too... It has a garden & a terrace .. Having an entire duplex to yourself was a steal deal. The fresh home cooked food was cherry on the cake.. The staff was very courteous.. And the host were very kind & humble. A apt place to enjoy a long or a short trip with ur pets or kids Must go... Regards

It was my first home stay booking and I am happy that booked Whistling Thrush Cottage. Property has amazing view and you can see the mountains and Bhimtal lake as well from the balcony. Cottage is spacious and has terrace and garden area as well. I liked it over the hotel as while we book hotel we stick to specific room but this property gives you a lot of space to walk around. I would rate the Host as Super Host as they were very humble and supportive. Since we checked in, they were always available to answer the queries over whatsapp with a wait time of less that a minute. I ordered Chicken Masala and that was yumm. Overall food quality is very good and the best part was it was home cooked food. Staff was also polite. Property is around 14 km away from Nainital but the travel worth it and if Bhimtal is also in your list then this is the best place to stay. Kitchen has all the utensils so you can take ready to eat food, like maggie or to make tea. I booked the property as in previous reviews someone mentioned "if you will not come your will miss something" and now I absolutely agree. Place, Hospitality and food will make you to visit again and again and to share the exceptional experience with all.

I felt it would have been great if there is direct number to kitchen staff to order any thing. ( Though the host were always available ), Also i felt that front door should have additional net door as well to enjoy the weather even while sitting in the dining area. I could be a delighter :)

We had such an amazing stay. This by far is the best getaway spot from all the hustle and bustle of city life The best place to recharge your batteries and connect with the nature. The entire vicinity is breathtaking and so peace.To sum it up, whistling thrush is a must visit with your friends or family.

Beautiful property with amazing view and very cordial and helpful host. The lunch served was wholesome and delicious. The host were also kind enough to accommodate early breakfast request. Overall a very good experience and look forward to staying there again.
