The apartament is great, the host is great, the breakfast is great

This is a great S/C flat wedged between businesses in the main square of Nicolosi; it's managed by the family who run the very smart bakery and bar next door. The hosts met me on arrival and were really helpful before and during my stay - giving me info on good places for vegetarian food and how to catch the local bus. There was a great kitchen and the washing machine was a bonus for midway through my trek. I cannot recommend the food at the bakery/bar enough - it was fantastic, and its where breakfast is offered. Perfect place for a short or longer stay if you are exploring the area.

I've only just started learning Italian, so i would have liked the welcome letter in English - but really this is a small thing as the hosts were just great.

We booked this accommodation quite last minute due to a change of plans. The host was very helpful and accommodating - a big thanks to him! Our main reasons for staying here, and not Catania were:- 1) to visit Mount Etna without using a tour company; 2) the ETNA Parkrun based in Nicolosi; 3) a smaller, less busy town than Catania The accommodation was fine for us for our 2.5 day stay. It was comfortable, and adequate for us. There was a gas hob (remember to turn on and off the gas cylinder in the cupboard). We didn't cook as we ate out at some lovely local restaurants. There was a washing machine which we did use and was great. There was also an outdoor area you could sit in and enjoy a drink or breakfast, which we did (when it wasn't raining!) The living room / dining area was comfortable and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay.

Great place in the center. Very clean. Apartment has everything you need.
