The best host I ever met. Puri is helpful and amazing host. (Thank you for everything - you are simply the best!) It is old house equipped with everything with pool and beautiful quite garden somewhere between hills with vineyards. If you have a car you can go around “miradouros” with unforgettable view on Tua and Douro river. We have everything for breakfasts on place.

Unique and authentic with everything you need for vacation

The location was easy to get to, and the property was absolutely perfect for our needs of relaxation and rejuvenation! A beautiful pool and surrounding area was so enjoyable. The breakfast couldn’t be B as they had stopped the refrigerator and cupboards for us.

Great ambiance and very friendly reception

We absolutely LOVED staying here. Honestly the best part was meeting Paulo and Puri, what kind and warm people! We absolutely recommend sharing a dinner with the hosts, a highlight of our stay for sure! Puri also makes jams and olive oil that are delicious. Paulo offered to show us where the locals buy their bread and it was such a hidden treasure, never would have found it on our own. We highly recommend a stay here. if you are foodies like us, don’t make the mistake of booking restaurant reservations before asking Paulo, he really knows what he is talking about when it comes to food! The property was clean and modern. there is a small kitchen and nice walk-in shower. The bed is comfortable and there is a ceiling fan which is great if that is what you are used to sleeping with or visiting on a particularly hot day.

The hosts hospitality was optimal!!!! We were greeted with a glass of champagne by the pool side and a tray of cheese and chorizo. The host conversed with us and gave us suggestions on the local view point of the river which was a 2 minute drive and more. The conversations with the host made it feel as if we were visiting a family member abroad.. it just felt very homely and welcoming :) Tua (their lovely and beautiful dog) was an amazing bonus to the stay. he would walk with us which made us feel more welcome and as if we were at home. Another dog came by who was slightly shy but was adorable and reminded us of scrappy doo from scooby doo :) The fridge was stocked with beverages and breakfast food, as well as tea and coffee. The swimming pool is shared across from our stay where another couple was staying but we had the pool all to ourselves. The pool over looked the vineyard which made the view exquisite. They also make their own jam and the jam is absolutely amazing to the taste buds. They provided us with a free jar of jam as we left and a biscuit. We also got slightly lost but the locals were very helpful in finding our way there. the hosts are very courteous as they provided us towels, bath robes, and even offered sun cream!! this stay was a 5 star experience, 100% coming back again!!!! thank you so much for the stay.

‌The family, including our dog, just rented a House but we've got a full experience. Fifteen days in a peacful place from where Paulo and Puri introduced us to know The wine, the food and, best of all, the people, of the Douro Interior. Gratefull place, charming people. Hollydays to remember for ever. Thank you very much for all.
