Anna Apartment

We accidentally booked this apartment thinking it was in Positano but it was in the beautifully quiet location of Nocelle with stunning views. It was very clean, well equipped and easy to access by the local bus. We arrived on a Sunday when the mini market was shut and Veronica had kindly provided some water/beers and breakfast food. We went down to Positano both days so decided to eat at both of the Nocelle restaurants in the evenings and had two of our best meals of our holiday - Refugio die Meile and Santa Croce both offered delicious food, stunning views and amazing service. The local lemon point kiosk is also definitely worth a visit. Veronica was a sweetheart and was so helpful from the moment we booked to leaving the apartment and was very quick to reply with any questions - we would highly recommend :)

The location was slightly further out than we anticipated but it is great if you are fit enough to walk the steps or don’t mind catching the bus :) but it can be very busy - taxis are very expensive so I would avoid this option.

Victoria is a really nice host, the apartment is lovely furnitured and has a marvellous view on the sea, everything was extremely tidy. The village of Nocelle is cute, has a little shop and two very good restaurants. It might be a little off the center of Positano, but I can only recommend staying there if you are looking for a quiet holiday with a breathtaking view on the Amalfi coast.

My friend and I stayed in Anna Apartment August 2022. We had a fantastic time! Veronica (the host) was amazing. She was so helpful and even met us with a smile even though it was heavy rain, thunder and lightening! (Which soon cleared and doesn’t happen very often - it was just luck 🙈). The apartment was very clean, quiet and with a beautiful view from the balcony. We highly recommend Anna Apartment.

The ONLY downside is it’s at least a 30 minute bus ride up and down which only comes once an hour - don’t forget your face mask otherwise they won’t let you on and it’s a long wait for the next one. Also the bus can be quite busy. We used a cab a couple of times which was so much easier and was around €40 which isn’t that bad in £ considering the distance. This is not a reflection on Anna Apartment. The apartment was great and Veronica was amazing!

This place was magic, it was so clean, beautiful, comfortable… it was a 10 no doubt! It was quite hot outside yet we stayed nice and cool in the apartment. The view was incredible and the place super peaceful. We stayed in different cities and hotels in the Amalfi coast and this was by far our absolute favorite!! Also the hostess was very kind and helpful. If you get a chance you should also stop by a little mini market, Maria the lady working there was lovely and she made us great sandwiches, we still miss eating them! ❤️

The view is absolutely incredible and Veronica is the most amazing host. She met us at the bus stop in Nocelle and got my partner & I complimentary lemon granitas from the local juice cart after our hot bus ride. She walked us to the accomodation and showed us all of the facilities. She was extremely helpful with any questions we had and easily contactable. The property is even more beautiful in person than the photos and is beautifully decorated.

Something to note about the location of Nocelle - it is close to Positano but to get there the roads are very narrow and windy and unless you take a private car or taxi which is about €25 one way, you will have to catch the local bus. This was an interesting experience… it is about half an hour one way and is usually jam packed.
