Lilypad A central location to explore the New Forest & South Coast

This was a present for my parents birthdays, they loved it

Everything, beautiful place, very clean and tidy, lots of lovely small touches. Parking very easy, a bit of road noise when outside but nice and quiet inside. We had no problems at all.

Nothing, everything was fab.

The cottage was very warm and well equipped, in a great location which was quiet at night. Excellent road links, access to the New Forest was close by, and very good amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Although we were only staying 2 nights, the availability of washing machine, dishwasher, cleaning products and plenty of cooking equipment was exceptional. The beds were comfy enough, with an excellent amount of pillows and very nice, clean bedding. The information provided for the cottage and local area were great, and the communication was very good.

Everything was perfectly adequate for a holiday let and generally exceeded expectations. To be really picky, the sofa seemed a little cheap and not terribly comfortable. The lighting downstairs was also quite harsh. A couple of smaller lamps by the dining table and recliner might be a softer alternative. The paintwork had clearly been cleaned and touched up in plenty of areas and could possibly do with a full refresh. Something warmer than just white would also benefit the cosiness of the downstairs, but these are real picky points, and certainly more personal preference than necessity.

Nothing to dislike

A really comfortable, clean, well-equipped place to stay. Able to cook a full Christmas dinner. Stayed with my husband and daughter, plenty of space for us all. Ringwood is a lovely town and so many other towns to explore on your doorstep. The parking is as stated an allocated spot, we're rubbish at parallel parking so glad the front spot was always empty 😂

An ideal location for exploring the New Forest, easy to get to with good parking. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped, we wanted for nothing. We also appreciated the little treats left for us. The beds were comfortable and it was in a quiet location so we slept really well and there was plenty of hot water for baths and showers with nice fluffy towels.

We had a difference of opinion - I found the sofa a bit uncomfortable, my sister though it was fine - just shows these things are subjective! We also had rather rotten weather - not the fault of the accommodation! ( which was lovely and warm and dry to return to.
