Casa Patio Canario SXVII

La ubicación nos encantó, queda en toda la mitad de la isla, excelente para conocer tanto el norte como el sur, nos gusto que conserva la esencia de una casa con más de 100 años de historias, limpia a pesar de su antigüedad y de ser una casa terrera, los dueños muy amables y agradables, nos resolvieron todo al momento

Una joya canaria con un patio que enamora. Hemos estado en familia y no podríamos haber elegido mejor. La casa es acogedora respetando la arquitectura tradicional. Pero lo mejor, sin duda, es el patio: un auténtico oasis lleno de vegetación, flores y sombra natural, ideal para relajarse, charlar o simplemente mirar al cielo entre las ramas. Nos hizo sentir que estábamos en un rincón mágico, cuidado con cariño. De la misma manera que el pueblo. Cuidado y auténtico. ¡Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

The house is located on the edge of Aguimes historical quarter. So while a couple of steps from the main square it us out of the way of most traffic. The rooms are located around a leafy patio, we loved our time spent in the courtyard. The living room, study and kitchen are in the main house furnished with old-fashilend furniture. Kitchen equipment is sparse but provides everything that is needed. Rooms with bathrooms are on the other side of the courtyard. During our stay it was very hot so while the courtyard keeps you private and out of the wind it also makes it a bit harder to air. Free parking is available right around the corner. We loved our stay and would recommend the house to anybody who prefers loads of authenticity in exchange for some simpler creature comforts...

There were two electrical grills in the kitchen however we didn't manage to get either of them working. Those should either be replaced or removed. The kitchen could use a couple of some plain utensils, i.e. spatulas, salad bowl, grater,..
