This was one of the best accommodation experiences that i have had in years the accommodation was excellent the hosts were amazing and if i ever find myself in the area again i will definitely try to stay here again.

Nothing at all I have no complaints only positive things to say about the experience.

"Enjoyed a night in cooking for ourselves in this sweet little home"

The Wee Anchor is a gorgeous traditional cottage very close to the shore. We felt part of the village culture and away from the usual tourist route. We beachcombed for sea glass (found lots) on s nearby beach, and used arbroath as a base to explore Pictish standing stones, arbroath cathedral, dundee and ‘smokies’!

Had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed. Jean the owner even came to the train station and picked us up then showed us round the cottage. Will definitely be booking another stay there.

Location was excellent for us. It wasn’t totally a holiday visit, more of a family need visit but the property fitted our needs perfectly. We could see that there were plenty of items in the property that total holidaymakers would have appreciated.

Perfect location in Arbroath, one street away from seafront. Excellent facilities in the house. Everything was perfect.

Our host kindly picked us up from the railway station and was extremely friendly and informative. The location was excellent for walking out on to the cliff path and for accessing shops and fish and chips!
