The house and location was fantastic. It had plenty of room for just the two of us and we found on arrival that the host had provided a few basic food items for our use (milk, eggs and bread). As this location is fairly remote, it was nice to have those available. The views of the surrounding scenery were wonderful. We would sit at the dining room table in the morning and watch out the window while having breakfast. Then we'd go out and explore everything there is to see on the island.

The only issue we encountered on the visit was locking and unlocking the doors. Mind you that we're from the USA, and maybe these types of locks are normal for the UK, but several times we found ourselves unable to unlock or lock a door. I think we finally figured it out by the end of our visit that you had to move the handle in a certain manner when locking or unlocking. Other than that, we had everything we needed.

Beautiful views, quiet place. Great preparation of the house, perfectly clean and well maintained, Very well equiped.

Nothing. Just think ahead of your shopping for groceries as there are very few shops in the area.

The photos of the home and views do not do it justice. This cozy house feels like a home away from home and you can tell it is a well loved house. The views from the property are so pretty and the area around feels quiet and peaceful. Stornaway was close by for a "big town" feel, but we really valued the peace and coziness of this home.

Nothing, it was quite remote from any restaurants and grocery stores, but we knew that when we booked so we just planned for cooking and settling in during the evening hours.
