Casa Miriam and the team were simply outstanding. They went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, even to the point of giving us a lift. We would highly recommend this place, position and admin. We really loved being there

Good location, clean and comfortable. Contact via phone/WhatsApp made everything easy.

The place was a little difficult to find seeing we did not understand that it was a few steps down from the church parking area. Once found it made sense. We do not speak the language enough to understand and to be understood by people around us but the hosts are only a phone call away.

Very authentic, interesting place right opposite the main church in the city. Despite the fact that the house and its walls are obviously many centuries old, inside everything is very comfortable, there are all amenities and benefits. It was very interesting and unusual to wake up to the ringing in the church, as if you found yourself in the Middle Ages. The place is an hour away from the most interesting places in Sera da Estrela.

One of the beds is very squeaky.

Cosy, typical, very welcoming.

It would have been even more perfect with some tea bags or some coffee….but really everything was perfect.

Paulo was great to deal with. I appreciate him meeting us at the home and holding a parking spot right in front for us. He also made a dinner reservation for us at a nearby restaurant that was excellent.

Downside was no place to sit and relax. Dining chairs were hard wood with straight backs (no cushions), and there was no love seat or sofa for two. Only one other armless chair, and we used that for one of our suitcases. The other issue was the lack of A/C for the downstairs, but I appreciate this may be impossible or very costly to install.
