Historic converted byre in courtyard of 16C house

It is an absolute privilege to be able to share this rural idyll. The setting is beautiful, taking tranquility to a new level. The Byre has its quirks but is a wonderful combination of spaces.

Beautiful garden. Brilliant birdwatching. Very quiet and peaceful.

Slightly difficult to find as the postcode took us to another property.

We enjoyed everything about this beautiful property after a 4 night stay. The property was spotless, quaint with absolutely everything you could want for a superb stay both indoor and outdoors. Comfy beds, quality towels and bed linen. Jen and Richard were lovely hosts and we were treated to scones, jam and strawberries on arrival. I would highly recommend if wanting a perfect stay! Thank you so much. Cant wait to return

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property or the wonderful welcome from the hosts.

This place is breathtaking, absolutely amazing. Attention to details was just exceptional. Host were very helpful and nice, the lime cake that was waiting for us was absolutely delicious. Very quiet location, perfect if you looking to relax and the view absolutely stunning. Cottage is more than very well equipped, there is everything you could need, even if you have to live there permanently- which I wouldn't mind ;-)

we were met by our lovely hosts and were immediately blown away by the beautiful styled apartment, flowers and home baking. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens etc. The location was centrally located to explore the Lake District and surrounds. Amazing country side views.
