Cool place, full house of pop art and anime collections. Really like it.

Loved the Vader room very much. Host was friendly and did his best to speak in English. Great, geeky aesthetic to the whole place.

Very spacious and comfortable guesthouse, well equipped with amenities. Located at the heart of Hakodate and close to everywhere we needed to go. As we were catching a flight after our stay, the host also provided a scale for us to weigh our luggage which was extremely helpful. We also loved the huge collection of One Piece figurines that the owner has collected over the years. Would definitely book again if we were to come back to Hakodate.

Good position for travelling. And the price is acceptable and lower. I like it

The temperature of the room is low even though it has air conditioner. I feel cold.

The host let us use all three rooms because nobody else had booked for that night. Super comfortable, clean, well decorated. I wish we had stayed longer.

Spacious rooms

The owner/staff were late in receiving us so the instructions to the address and where our room is not clear. As it was snowing, we were very cold standing outside and trying to figure out the place. The room takes a while to be heated but overall it is in a good location which is easily accessible There shld be an address in Japanese for us to cut and paste onto taxi app so that the driver will know as most of them do not understand English. Also as we generally do not enjoy lamb, we were recommended a bbq restaurant which only sells 90% lamb. We continued with the food order as we only found out midway of ordering. Wld be nice if the owner can prepare address of different restaurant and places which we cld go nearby due to language barrier. Some early preparation using a translator app would do the trick.

The decor and the reading materials (manga) provided added to the beauty and happy atmosphere of the guesthouse. The property was very clean as were all the shelves, utensils, toilets, baths and the appliances. The kitchen utensils were also neatly arranged. All the amenities indicated are also there. Another plus is the availability of a parking space, we were driving a rental, conveniently close to the property.

It was comfortable. There were 2 baths and 2 toilets. Good location. Near eateries. We walked to the Hakodate market. There was a dedicated parking space for our car. The host was very helpful and contactable.

Check in - the system they used didn’t recognize my booking. I needed to find their staff to help, which took us some time. But not a big problem. Staff were very nice.
