4 beautiful bedrooms each with it's own bathroom made it for us. The whole house, garden and hosts made it an exceptional stay.

We were met by the host, the property was very well laid out and stylish with a old country kitchen look, I liked that the space revolved around the kitchen table.I attended Phil Brook’s bow making course which was within a 15 minute drive. All amenities were excellent and within a brief car drive.

The beds were a little too soft but I’m used to a firm mattress

A lovely country style farmhouse. We really liked the furnishing. A nice and friendly hostess. A good option if you want to spend a few days on the countryside.

We stayed for 3 nights, but didn't use the cooking facilities, so can't comment on those. The owner gave us a lovely friendly welcome when we arrived, which made us feel at home straight away. We had the downstairs room which was very spacious, with a great bathroom and shower, the upstairs rooms were reported by others in our party as also being very comfortable. The house has bags of quirky character, being a big old farmhouse, so we didn't mind the creaky floorboards, it all added to the ambience. Decorating style in keeping with the rustic house.

TV aerial connection was a trip hazard, as it had to be plugged in across the other side of the room from the TV. We would have preferred more seating in the lounge area - 5/6 comfy seats for 8 people. Upstairs shower - water stopped when the sink downstairs was being used.

We loved the location. The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It was a very relaxing place. We were surrounded by amazing countryside. The beautiful scenery, wonderful sounds, and complete connection to nature was wonderful. As we relaxed into this lovely house we knew we had chosen the perfect place for our very special long weekend. The lounge is very cosy, and connected to the kitchen dining area. Everything we needed was available. We were speechless when on the morning of our son's wedding a beautiful cat sat outside the front door. This was because it was exactly the same as our 17 year old cat that died last year!! This was amazing to us all and very emotional on this special day. Our electric car was very low on the day after the wedding. A lot of charging places around the area were out of order. We asked the owner if we could use their charging point as we were concerned that we wouldn't find somewhere else to charge. The reaction was so speedy and positive we were extremely grateful and very very impressed. Thank you so much for being amazing hosts. We would love to visit again sometime.We will all always remember your farmhouse as somewhere very special that we spent a lovely weekend together.
