Casa Minerva

Casa davvero molto carina, accogliente e con tutti gli occorrenti utili e necessari. Inoltre, la zona è tranquilla e ho potuto godere di momenti di silenzio. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile, gentile e attento durante il mio soggiorno.

The location

This unit was very disappointing. It was musty-smelling, dated, cluttered and dark. There is no natural light and the lighting is terrible. This unit desperately needs a reno.

La casa è molto curata e dotata di tutti i confort.. si trova in un ottima posizione per visitare al meglio la stupenda Ortigia. La consiglio e sono sicura che ritorneremo. Personale gentile e disponibile ☺️

Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile e gentile. La casa si trova vicinissima al centro in ztl, ma se avete la macchina la potete lasciare in un parcheggio che costa solo 13€ al giorno, prezzo fatibile e basso essendo nella città di Ortigia. Al suo interno la struttura ha tutto ciò che vi può servire, inoltre il materasso è molto comodo. Consiglio questa struttura!

Location was great, apartment is small but clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a smooth stay. Host is nice, responsive, not oveevra.

Might be a bit noisy at night / early morning

I spent a wonderful few nights at Casa Minerva in Syracuse and can say the experience was nearly flawless.  The room is equipped with everything you need: a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a kitchenette with basic utensils, and a clean bathroom—exactly what you want for a relaxing stay.  The location couldn’t be better—you’re staying in the heart of Ortigia, just steps away from the main attractions, restaurants, and cafés, so you always feel the authentic vibe of the city.  The host was extremely friendly and helpful, offering very useful local recommendations. However, considering the great price, unbeatable location, and warm hospitality, these details are negligible.  Overall, Casa Minerva absolutely deserves a 10/10 and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Ortigia!

The only minor drawback was a slight dampness in the room and a subtle musty smell upon arrival.

The location of the flat is very good, in the tourist area of Siracusa. The host gave me excellent help after I lost my wallet and he took care of the contact with the police, thanks so much again! The flat itself is very good, there are no shortcomings to report.

At night, there is sometimes some noise in the street due to passing motorbikes, bringing earplugs can be handy.

The location was really good. I also liked the interior of the apartment. However, it was dirty and really humid. The dishes were sticky and dirty. Our host was really friendly and helpful.

The flat was not properly cleaned. I think it should be cleaned really well and then maintained properly in order to keep a good and high standard of this place, because the place is amazing.
