This spot is perfect. The view of the marina from our room was spectacular, it’s was so nice to be in such an idyllic area away from the noise and congestion of Sorrento. The boats traveling in and out of the marina were a constant source of entertainment from our balcony view. While the Taverna Azzurra was our favorite restaurant, many other dining choices are close by. We hope to return to such a memorable place.

Fantastic location - met the nicest family and ate at their Restaurant every night serviced by wonderful staff 😀 special mention to Alex and Michael for their great service. Location just a short walk to city centre and marinas. Would love to come back again. Friends for life made my holiday stay enjoyable and relaxed - had the best time💕💕 Thank you so much - special people make the world a nicer place and Suitevesuvio Sorrento is paradise😀

Everything was perfect

The owners were warm, friendly, and helpful. We were greeted with Prosecco upon arrival and they were very responsive to all of our needs. The view was 10/10. The apartment was clean and had everything necessary for 2 people. We ate at the owners restaurant Taverna Azzurra multiple times due to the excellent quality of the meals and the friendly attentive service. We would highly recommend staying at Suite Vesuvio and dining at Taverna Azzurra.

Hosts were lovely and responsive leading up to our visit, welcomed us with a drink and even added a temporary bed for us so we could squeeze in (family of 5). Great view of Vesuvius from the shared walkway (it’s really not a balcony). Electronic safe in the main living area to lock stuff away. Nice size fridge and freezer. Handy little (really, really little) shop just down from the accomms that carried essentials (at a premium $$$). Had a hot water issue and hosts were very quick to try and resolve. In truth, we drained the hot water as the place is really meant for 4max but they kindly let 2adults/3kids stay.

To be honest, It’s more than a bit dead in this marina off/season (end Easter), you’re better off up in the town square. Lots of stairs to take your cases up, and narrow. This place is quite simply very tired… basic would be an understatement. Didn’t bother to unpack as the heirloom wooden wardrobe smelt of musty old wood, the drawer is lined with dusty old newspapers and much the same. Suitcases are the safest bet for your valuable clothes here. Main bed was frankly horrific with just a sponge mattress, zero support. I slept the night in a U shape and my back didn’t thank me next day. Bedding always felt damp, maybe the sea air. It’s not really ideal for more than a couple and maybe 1 child on the fold out, water heater would struggle for 4. Smallest shower cubicle in Planet Earth, once you’ve climbed over the WC that has been placed in front, possibly as some kind of dexterity challenge. One huge concern - anyone sleeping or walking in the main lounge area is on FULL display of the shared walkway (not a private balcony). Clear glass doors, light coloured roller blind - with the lights on in the room you can see everything when you are walking past. I was horrified when I came back to see my kids just out of the shower from outside on the walkway. The poor quality of the main bed mattress and feel of the property in general (combined with a sick kid) meant I paid for 4 nights, but only stayed for 2 and wrote off the lost money as a poor choice and not enough research. Couldn’t bear the idea of spending a whole day inside so moved the family out to somewhere nicer. There were too many of us to fit comfortably, but that’s on us. The rest is my personal opinion as a traveller. Needs some effort to justify the cost.

Nice location. Much quieter and more scenic than Marina Piccolo. 20mins walk through the centre from station but ok for us. Well equipped kitchen and a/c kept us warm enough in December. Adjacent restaurant belongs to owners so good for logistics/assistance and reasonably priced, good food and drinks options compared with the centre of town...

Needed better weather than early winter to make the most of the apt and location.

A perfect retreat sitting right on Marina Grande, with sweeping views of Mt. Vesuvius. The apartment "feels" larger than the square footage would suggest, and was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The patio table can be used inside or out (very convenient), and the main doors and bedroom open out to the ocean, making the space feel wide open. Central Sorrento is a quick and pleasant 10 minute walk away. Perhaps the best thing about this apartment is its location next to (and association with) Taverna Azzurra. Owner Gennaro and his entire family (3 generations) greeted us upon arrival, welcomed us with local delicacies and wine, and attended to our every possible need. They treated us like family. Taverna Azzurra itself is one of the best and most respected restaurants in Sorrento, and known for their fresh fish in a city for whom its a trademark. We would stay again for the quality of the lodging, and even more so to see our new friends. Ciao!

If steps aren't your thing, the magnificent views that come with this unit do so at a price; its on the third floor, and there's no elevator. But Gennaro and his team will carry your bags for you, so nessum problema! Internet was a little slow/spotty at times, so don't plan on closing that $1B (or Euro) deal here. But its perfect for booking excursions and reservations. And you're supposed to be on vacation!

location is brilliant. lovely view of the marina and a short walk to Sorrento town. host was lovely, had an issue with the Wi-Fi which she resolved. we also had a 2 year old and used the travel cot provided but no proper mattress. provided extra duvet to pad out. perfect for family and staff at restaurant underneath we’re lovely too. clean rooms just what we needed.
