Beautiful setting. Very clean. Helpful hosts.

Great place but you need a car. Very steep hills so not good for anyone with mobility issues.

The view and the space is beautiful and fantastic. The apartment is fairly updated and well appointed with everything you need. Coffee was excellent. Host provided excellent local recommendations.

Maybe I missed this, but it was a problem for us to have the kitchen on a different floor due to having a young child and an adult with a physical disability. This should be more clear in the property description as this did not work for us. This is probably the norm for Sorrento, but the access to parking is difficult for a North American driver with a standard car, especially after dark, as you have to drive through a very narrow opening at one point. We did not feel comfortable walking on the narrow winding roads to go anywhere so we ended up using the car every time. There is a bus close by, but it is infrequent, I believe. We also did not have the smoothest check in experience, although in fairness to the host, we arrived later than expected from the airport. The hot water in the shower was finicky to use - it was at times dangerously hot and we would have appreciated a heads up.

Beautiful house, beautiful views, lovely area outside - just like in the photos :) spotless clean.

Its a lot of steps up from the town:) but you get rural peace and quiet as a reward. Sofa bed is sloping so that is a little discomfort

The villa is located on the hillside above Sorrento and is wonderfully peaceful, but only a 20 minute (steep!) walk into town. Plenty of great outdoor spaces with comfortable furniture. Nothing but the sound of birdsong and church bells. Federico, the host, was fantastic, very helpful and kind. Standout moment: we arrived late in the evening and hadn't had time to stop to buy any food. A few moments later Federico turned up at our door with an absolutely delicious pizza just made by his mother! Amazing welcome!

No real negatives, but the walk into town would be difficult for anyone with any fitness or mobility issues. When coming back after dark, you'll need a torch. But it is a lovely walk, with spectacular views over Sorrento and across the bay to Vesuvius.

Federico is a great owner. I’m not a fan of nosy owners that are present and Federico clearly isn’t. He’s there when you need him and out of view all other times. This makes the Villa really feel like a home. We were four and enjoyed our stay. Sorrento is a nice place, Positano is not far away and Amalfi is around the corner.

Walking the stairs, but that’s actually good after a good meal.

The villa surpassed our expectations - the photos do not do it justice. A beautiful and peaceful very well equipped villa, just a short (if steep!) walk to the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The extensive outside private gardens made relaxing here very easy! Also, the WiFi and air con were first rate (happy teenagers) and we would be very happy to stay here again.
