Effies House

Lovely house with the most stunning views across the bay and to the nearby Telendos Island. Kleanthis, the owner, was extremely helpful and answered any questions very quickly. We were provided with the most generous provisions on arrival - a cake, fruit bowl, bottle of wine, butter, jam and several bottles of water - thank you very much Kleanthis. Very easy walk to the beach and to the local tavernas.

The only thing I didn't like was being next to the road and hearing cars and bikes at all times of the day and night. This was a problem for me as I am a very light sleeper, but was not a problem for my husband who rarely hears anything! Unfortunately, and this is nothing to do with Effies House, we did not book a car prior to arrival and were unable to book one when we got there - we couldn't work out the bus service so we didn't get to explore the island but this was our problem and nothing whatsoever to do with Effies House.

Clean, walk down the stairs to the beach and to many restaurants

The location of Effie’s House directly above the beach and within a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops in Myrties and Masouri was perfect. The view was stunning and the balcony area was excellent. The house had everything you need and the host was generous in their hospitality. Transfers were arranged and conducted efficiently from the port.

The owner welcomed us personally and prepared "welcome package" which pleased us very much. He offered help and information with arrival (ferry, taxi). Accomodation fully equiped, by the sea, stone beach accesible by stairs (may be difficult for people with restrictions, but for kids = OK). Wonderful view from the terrace. It is possible to watch kids (old enough) from terrace. There are a few basic ingredients like salt, sugar, coffee for first few loads (filter coffee).

A dream house! Very nice house provided with everything you need. Stunning views from the terrace, great location right at a beautiful beach Myrties that felt like it was only for us thanks to the stairs from the house leading right to the beach. If you leave your window open you can fall asleep while listening to the sea. Close to the bus stop, shops, tavernas and even a small pier with boats going to the opposite island Telendos. The house is perfectly located right between Myrties and Masouri villages. The owner Kleanthis is very nice and super helpful!
