GBGBAmazing location . Lovely little walks and cozy country pubs nearby. Within. 4 miles. Host John very polite and welcoming . Has a folder with all kinds of activities in the local area. Little log fire in lroom nice and cozy after a long walk . Kitchen is full equipped to rustle up food. You will love this booking .

The property wasn't warm even with the log burner. We didn't sleep there, we left after an hour although we had a 2 night stay booked. Sorry John, I'm sure its good in summer but your guests need to be comfortable all year round.
GBAbsolutely LOVED Everything. John is such a great guy and goes above and beyond to make things as comfortable as poss, which added to making our stay one of the best weekends we've ever had. All in this secret hidden gem. We will be back .10 stars from us! :) xxx

GBOak beams, wooden floors, rustic farmhouse feeling. Quirky decor with a large wood burner stove. Plenty of room for two of us to relax in. John was very friendly. He met us on arrival and welcomed us by having the fire lit and the electric blanket switched on. Lovely views from a large window overlooking the gardens.
No heating apart from the wood stove and a couple of small oil filled plug-in radiators. First few logs provided kept us going for a couple of hours, then we used almost a full bag that we’d brought with us. A trip to Tesco in Ellesmere on NYE and we bought another two bags for £22 to keep us going. Electric is metered at a subsidised price so you need a few pound coins. It was fine and lasted well on an extra £3, but we were worried about running out. I imagine heating and lighting wouldn’t be a problem in summer, but it is something to consider if you’re visiting in winter when the weather is cold and windy.
