Dependance con piscina Paolone House Taormina

Fantastisk utsikt, lunt og solrikt. Beliggenhet rett ved resturantene, gratis parkering på taket. Flott leilighet og elsket våkne i senga til utsikt og sitte på terrassen om morgenen. Stor plass ute, solsenger og basseng. Hele leiligheten føltes renslig og stor. Anbefalerer denne virkelig.

Leilighet er litt mer slitt en bilder viser. Knust rute, spekk i bide, dusjdør som er vanskelig åpne, tar lang tid før varmtvann i dusj og på kjøkken fikk vi aldri helt varmt vann. Det er en del løse bord på terrasse. Men alt er renslig og vi koste oss her.

Nice apartment with lovely views over the sea and lower bays. Very clean internally, with bright, tasteful decor and a great vista from all the viewpoints due to the glass fronted aspect. Lovely to sit with a coffee on the veranda. Very close to the centre of Toarmina with all it's shops and restaurants. Private pool with direct access from the apartment, not heated so we were unable to make use of it, unfortunately, in March.

Very steep hill to navigate to and from the apartment, especially with luggage. Makes the property more suited to those who arrive by car and not for those with any mobility issues or taking public transport. Access to the apartment was initiated by calling Salvatore, who gave instructions to meet at the hotel at the top of the hill. He met us on his moped and he helpfully offered to take one case with him, however it was still a challenge with luggage as the entrance to the apartment is also down two flights of stairs, after having walked down the very steep path. The amenities in the apartment were basic, no complimentary supplies were provided other than tea, coffee, sugar and condiments. For the price of the accommodation, it would've been a nice touch to have some water in the fridge at least. Especially as the supermarket is quite a walk away after a long journey. The apartment is a good standard and clean, however some areas need maintenance or refreshing for example the shower door scrapes on the floor and is hard to open/close and there are some unsightly cracks in one of the large glass panels in the dining area and also in the bidet - which does not express luxury accommodation. There is the construction of a large concrete property directly to the right of the apartment, although at a lower level it does sometimes.e detract from the view of the bay. Finally, it was suggested we could reach the train station, upon leaving, by continuing on the downhill path from the apartment to sea level. We were told this would only takes 12 minutes. I would advise not to use this route, especially with luggage as the path goes from tarmac to steps, then to a very narrow path of jutting stones which necessitates some balance and carrying of cases. All whilst navigating upcoming walkers who thought we were mad! Having committed to this way down we had to perservere with it.

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass steile Stufen zu dem Appartement führen, geht aber nicht anders bei dieser Lage

The view and the location are amazing.

The shower door is slightly misaligned. It is difficult to open and close.

This is the second time we have stayed at Paolone House. It is situated at a perfect location, only a short walk away from the shops and Corso Umberto. The house itself is super comfortable and has all the amenities necessary to make your stay perfect, from a fully-equipped kitchen to your own private pool! The hosts do pay attention to detail and make you feel at home. We have tried another accommodation in Taormina in the past, but nothing compares to Paolone House -it’s SUPERB! :)

Nothing -we liked EVERYTHING.

Location was beautiful but you do need to walk up and down a steep Street from the house to the town, this will not be easy for anyone who has physical problems. House is beautiful with incredible view. Owner was very nice.

Very steep Hill to get to the house, anyone with a physical problem will be very hard to walk up and down and make sure to have a GOOD car, VERY steep road. Bathroom is one of the worst I’ve seen in in terms of performance, very small shower(no Shelf to put toiletries), no soap or shower gel provided, shower glass door hits Floor and is hard to open. Toilet is too close to bidet which is opposite. 1 roll of toilet paper was provided for 3 nights for 3 people. When asked for more they gave 1 extra roll… maybe toilet paper is expensive in Sicily? Nespresso machine provided but the pods the have DO NOT FIT, very disappointing.
