Landro House

Landro house is located in the quiet village Drapanios. Taverna, supermarket and bakery are just around the corner and kafeneon just in front. The beautiful town of Kissamos is a 10min drive. The house exceeded all of our expectations. Large well equipped kitchen and living area, good size bedroom with comfortable bed and nice modern bathroom. The entire house was spotlessly clean. But what we will always remember are the hosts Paula and her husband, the most warm and open hearted people we ever met on vacation. They were always there when needed and every day Paula surprised us with fresh potatoes, tomatoes and olive oil from their own grove. Such wonderful people, we definitely want to come back here!

Nothing, we had a perfect stay!

We chosen Landro House where we had one of the most pleasant experiences in terms of accommodations. The cleanliness is IMPECCABLE, done down to the smallest detail (drawers, crockery, oven, refrigerator - you don't have the slightest qualms about using whatever is available). Also, the owners seem to have put themselves in the position of their visitors, offering all the facilities so that the stay is perfect, they also provide items such as: beach umbrella, sand toys for children, thermal bag and elements for the beach , beach towels + all their advice about the area. The house is ideally positioned to be able to explore the entire western part with the most famous beaches of Crete (Efalonissi, Falassarna, Balos) - it is at a distance of approximately. 5 min by car to the local beach and the town of Kissamos where u find great value supermarkets ( I found also fish shop and bought some very fresh local fish - right from the fisherman 😋😋) and at a distance of approx. 50 min from Efalonissi and 40 minutes from Balos. Although we caught 2 days with some rain, the covered terrace of the house was a real help, being able to enjoy the pleasant temperatures outside without getting wet. Everything was perfect! Mrs. Paula is special and together with her husband they do an excellent job. The price we paid was below what they offer, and their hospitality is immeasurable (they offered us olive oil from their own culture for cooking, fresh fruit). In this way we want to thank them once again! Ps: our two-and-a-half-year-old girl can't wait to return to her "grandparents" from Crete, just to give you an idea of ​​the dances as people (gentle, warm, welcoming and extremely attentive to the needs of the people who cross their threshold, profit to emphasize once again the impeccable cleanliness)! So, if you want to go to Crete you should definitely consider this as a best buy.
