La Prua

This is a really special holiday property. The location right on the beach in a gorgeous bay is unbeatable. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen functional and bathroom good and lounge area perfect. Good equipment such as sunbeds for visitors. As mentioned by other guests this property would be very tricky if you found steps difficult as access is a bit convoluted. Found the communication with the host and the flexibility offered the best I've experienced - thank you so much. Dreaming of returning and I rarely think that !!

This is nothing that I believe the property can fix but worth mentioning - there is a drain that runs just before the steps to the property . There is a plank of wood placed over it to aid stepping overbut the water coming out smells at times and isn't very pleasant to look at. To be fair you notice it at the beginning but once you settle in its not such an issue. The parking situation in the area is very tight. The closest car parks services several popular areas such as the cable car to taormina and isola bella beach so if you leave your space in the morning there is very little change of finding a space again if you return middle of the day. We used the main road but it wasn't very clear what the restrictions were.

A very pretty spot on the beach. Lovely large living space and patio area. A useful hose for post beach cleaning on the patio. A short walk to isola bella where the snorkelling was excellent.

Would have liked a second set of keys as we sometimes went out separately. Our corner of the beach was always full and used by boat trips for mooring so better to swim elsewhere. A limited choice of restaurants within easy walking distance. Expensive parking near the cable car at 20 euros a day but no other option. If you use the car you may not find a space on your return.

Location, Terrace overlooking the Public Beach was spectacular. Restaurants of all types within seconds of Front Door. Activities on and in the beautiful water were plentiful. Quick access to Funivia and Taxis to access Taormina mountain.

Very poor water flow, most of the time not enough for a shower
