Charming baixa

Nice apartment with everything you need in a very safe neighborhood.

The shower needed cleaning. The beds were a little squeaky and the mattresses a bit hard for our taste.

There was no breakfast. The location is far away, on the other side of the river which we didn't even know where it was. We booked the one in Baixa Chiado. We ended up with Baixa Charming in Lavradio.

The owner "forgot" to mention that the whole property was in a construction progress. It was covered all around with scaffoldings and everything. The owner should not rented it out. We were conned by him. We, 3 old people 65 and over, were the only ones in the apartment complex. With deafening noise from early morning till evening, and it's also dangerous to live in there. After 2 horrible days, we had to check out and asked the owner to return our money for the rest of the days, but he refused.

Very clean, spacious and a calm area to be at. Ruben was also very attentive and available for us if needed it.

I don’t have anything bad to say about this property, but if I had to point something, I would problem say , the noise coming from the building we were at , there were working going on at next door, during the day (mornings).

Apart from the living room with air conditioning, the rest of the house was cold. I hated the location. Is not a location I would ever rent a place. From the pictures looks like is a good area but I reality isn’t.

The apartment was clean and had everything we could need, very happy there, thank you.
