Souto Village - Douro Verde - by FERO

A new modern house with two apartments. Good soundproofing, comfortable beds. We were delighted with the immaculate cleanliness upon arrival. Despite the heat, the house was cool, even though we did not turn on the air conditioning. Parking on site, contactless entry (by code). Large grounds, no neighbours in sight.

Since we were travelling with two four-year-old children, we were very disappointed by the lack of a washing machine. We stayed there for a week. We had to wash the children's clothes and socks in the sink. It is very strange that such a modern house, equipped with the latest technology (including a "smart home" system), does not have a washing machine ((( Dogs bark at night, but this is a village, so you have to be prepared for that. Although this accommodation is located in the Douro Valley, you should not expect beautiful views.

Everything about our stay was simply wonderful. The place was spotless — from the immaculate rooms on arrival to the beautifully maintained garden. The setting is peaceful and serene, with a large, inviting pool that made our stay even more relaxing. A truly radiant getaway in the countryside. Huge thanks to the staff for making it all perfect!
