The location was perfect, minutes away from everything. It was spotlessly clean and very modern with everything you would need, even including a hair straightener! The garden was so lovely, like a perfectly quiet oasis close to all the life and busyness. Domenico the owner is a fantastic host, looking after all our needs, giving great recommendations for food, and even checking in with us to see if all was ok.

Domenico was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He gave us great local tips. The apartment is in a great location. We would definitely return.

I have never been more impressed with an apartment on Booking.com before. The apartment itself is stunning and what made it even better was Domenico’s availability and care. Any facility you can think of has been carefully provided. There’s fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, desserts, coffee that you can have for breakfast at the nice terrace. Nothing has been overlooked and I can’t wait to go back. Grazie Domenico! Alla prossima

It’s not related to the apartment but there might be some mosquitoes . Better to have an Autan spray with you, toll or you can get it at the pharmacy in front of the building.

The host sent some videos of what one can do in Monopoli ahead of my arrival and gave restaurant recommendations. He delivered and collected the keys in person and texted me during my stay to check all was ok and if I needed anything. He even had a bottle of water, fresh fruit and yoghurt in the fridge, coffee and biscuits and some Italian treats! It is a roomy studio apartment with air conditioning, the shower is good and there is a kitchenette. Great place for 1 or 2 people in the centre. The old town is a minute walk away and Port Vecchia beach is a 5 minute walk. The deli across the street is great for Italian cheese, salami and antipasti. There is also a bakery nearby.

Small point. Having a small dresser with drawers (for clothing you don't hang up, a surface to put brushes and jewellery on) would have been useful. But one can manage with the available furniture.

The location is amazing, and it was so nice that there were basics left like some pastries, coffee, olive oil, salt, fresh fruit, and water. There are great shops within a block--salumeria, a cheese shop, a fish store, a vegetable / fruit stand, and a market where you can get whatever you may have forgotten--sunscreen, beach toys, soap, shampoo, charging coverter, batteries, etc. The check in / check out was very easy. In mid June, the parking wasn't an issue for me and I was able to find free parking every day. It's also a 15 min walk to the train station so I did that one day going to Lecce instead of driving.

It was a little loud as it's located a few blocks from the historic center (so you can hear motobikes, people talking as they walk by at night), and there was construction at like 7am. I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me but may affect some people.

The property was gorgeous. The terrace was lovely, and it looked so pretty at night when it was lit up. The property was in a fantastic location, and Domenico was a brilliant host. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone.
