Lora luxury villa , with lake view

The location was fantastic and its close proximity to the lake was an added bonus. We’re keen paddle boarders and being able to launch a walk away from the property was absolutely amazing. The layout of the property made it so easy for two families to mix together and have privacy at the same time. The property was finished to high standards and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding if needed. Lora was lovely and very helpful. She gave us lots of information about parking, groceries, a local restaurant, the lido and was available to help out when we needed some assistance. We’re familiar with the area and this property is in a really good spot. Right in the middle. I would stay in Ossuccio again

Nothing really but it would have been nice to have a dishwasher. As long as you don’t mind staying on top of the dish washing, you’re ok. Having printed instructions for recycling would be a good idea too.

Host was nice.

Villa smell like there was a pet. Booking was offering three bedroom house on the same properly and despite the long conversation with customer service they didn't solve the problem.

Luca's house is perfect for entertaining and staying with the family. There were 5 of us (four adults and a child) and everyone had a comfortable and cozy private space. The apartment is smartly divided, and includes: 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a balcony overlooking the lake, an inner courtyard and more. We were lucky, because the place that just opened, looks new, decorated and very clean. Laura (the owner of the place) was very helpful, pleasant and helped us with every question and request. The location of the property is excellent - located a few minutes drive from the cruise station to the town of Bellagio. Half an hour from Mangio. One hour from Lugano, half an hour from the town of Como, fifteen minutes from Villa Balbianello...

Nothing... all was perfect!!!

The accommodation is beautiful. The attention to detail is 2nd to none. The accommodation is cleverly converted - you enter into the kitchen lounge space, and to your left there is a lounge with sofa bed and a spiral staircase leading to a beautiful ensuite bedroom. And to your right hand side there is a lounge area with balcony and pull-out sofa bed and a metal staircase leading to a second double room with toilet and sink. The two bedrooms are accessible across a outdoor terrace. Perfect for two families travelling together. We didn’t have a car so appreciated drinks, snacks, washing up liquid and toiletries were provided. Everything we needed had been thought off. Communication was brilliant and we felt really at home.

Wi-Fi was poor. We were lucky if we got one hour a day. If you have teenagers or need to work, we recommend the Lido. We didn’t have a car. The location is steep and you need to have a good level of fitness to access the property and get about. I wish we had known about the C10 bus which would’ve given us a little more freedom(which we discovered at the end) There are not many options close by. The views in Como are incredible and the area around is steep. Bring your trainers! You don’t see a lot of taxis around, so if you need one I suggest booking. We got a taxi from Como train station - The bus is much cheaper but drops you off at the bottom of the hill. It would be a steep walk with luggage up to the property.
