Rough Ridge Cottage ~ your haven in Central Otago

Fantastic location on the Otago Rail Trail and walking distance to the pub. Everything in the cottage is brand new and to a high standard. Very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay. Lovely views of the surrounding countryside from this light and spacious cottage.

Wished we had stayed longer.

Everything. Although it might look pricey to start, the aura and the brand new and luxurious feel of this cottage is worth the extra investment. Abundant array of food and drinks available for guest. Lovely bonus the daire free milk options. Do not miss the stars at night from the garden. Bike shed

The house was clean as a whistle. It had everything we needed, comfortable and well equipped. Very thoughtfully put together and generous with bedding, wash items and food. Thank you.

Such a wonderful holiday home! Great lay-out and well-equipped kitchen, with breakfast supplies (all plant-based) and a wide variety of herbal tea available (also coffee and black tea, but we loved the green tea with mandarin 😉). Very comfortable shower, smart tv, two bedrooms, and a bed in the living room — it’s just very easy living. Bonus that our dog was welcome too. We did some beautiful walks in the area, St Bathans with the Vulcan hotel and Blue Lake, Naseby Forest, and also around Oturehua. Would highly recommend for a stay in central Otago off the beaten path, for a weekend or a week. No doubt we’ll be back when staying in the area!
