Very good location, clean rooms, and very friendly staff.

Beautifully designed and decorated. Comfortable. Enough cups, plates, etc. Good, useful, local information available in the property. Nice shower. Great bedroom. Lots of space - shame we weren't staying longer. Tony was interesting, fun, helpful and friendly. Jerry's artwork is really good and if we'd had more time it would have been excellent to have seen more.

Nothing but it might be good to know the parking is a little tight if you have a car the size of an SUV (or bigger!)

It's clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into ensuring guests were as comfortable as they possibly could be, even down to all the little touches. I especially appreciated the fridge and and books and magazines about the local area. I've stayed in some places that looked good aesthetically but where it quickly became clear no one had ever tried to actually live there, but that was very much not the case here; everything was beautifully decorated, but with function in mind as well as form. it's also quite spacious. Soundproofing between the guestrooms was excellent. I know there were other people staying because I heard them in the hallway, but I didn't hear a peep once they were inside their room. One previous guest commented about the parking being directly off a busy road, which is true, but I will say that I found it very easy to get into and you have good visibility even when reversing out, so it wasn't really an issue for me even as a nervous driver.

The only thing that was an issue is that there isn't any soundproofing to speak of between the guestroom and the upstairs where the hosts live, so you can hear everything - conversations, the dog walking on the floor, the sound of the TV... It did all stop around 9 PM and so it at least didn't interfere with my sleep.

We had a lovely friendly welcome. The accommodation was excellent, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Tony gave us great advice on where to eat. The location was perfect for us as we were catching the ferry to the Isles of Scilly next day. We were disappointed we had only booked the one night.
