Quintessential, secluded South Devon cottage

The view

The roads leading to the property you really need a 4x4 it is not practical for anything else. The water was brown for a good few hours having to use the water from the fridge to make a cuppa with even to clean your teeth. The beds were damp and the rooms smelled awful it doesn’t say it’s not good for people with walking difficulties either. When we actually booked this cottage the map shows it in a completely different area to where it actually is. If they actually use what 3 words I really don’t think people would actually book this cottage. We were not there on holiday and booked the cottage as it was supposed to be near where my cousin lived it was actually half an hours drive away from the house in the wrong direction and the roads were really hard to get round. We did try and contact Sam the house keeper about the water but she wasn’t answering her phone.

Perfect location for visiting family in a nearby town. Had all the facilities needed for our young family, clean and spacious. Even the drive to the property was an adventure in itself :)

Location-beautiful, Accommodation- modern and well equipped. Couldn't ask for more if you want a quiet break. Access could be considered awkward, however not a problem as the host made us fully aware beforehand giving excellent directions. It didn't cause us any issues.
