The lake house with a beautifull view

Third time visiting the place and its great as always - house is clean, warm and comfortable. Place is quite, very isolated. Host is friendly. Very recommended if you want to chill during weekend and get a rest from noisy routine in the city.

The location is great - the house is not far from the train station, close to Tallinn, and hidden in the forest at a wonderful lakeshore. The lake has yellow water, and you can feel the cold water coming from the springs. The layout was cool, and we enjoyed eating our meals outside on the covered patio, even when it was raining. The owner was helpful when we called for additional information.

The listing on Booking. was somewhat misleading. The house is described as having two bedrooms, but in reality, it has one bedroom and two additional sofas that are too small to be considered proper sofa beds. This limited the sleeping arrangements. The TV did not function as advertised. The kitchen was under-equipped for four guests: there were no glasses, small plates, sufficient small bowls, knives, or small spoons, and no serving dishes. Additionally, it seemed like the house and sauna hadn’t been in use for a while. The lack of firewood was also disappointing since the rental included a sauna that we could not use. While the location is lovely and the house itself was okay, it did not meet the standard we expected for a rental costing €385 for two nights. The next house is literally next door, so keep that in mind if you are looking for total privacy.

Very friendly owner, clean house with great atmosphere. Warm inside, comfortable, sauna is a great bonus! Will definitely visit again. Great value for the price, I recommend it if you want to spend a great weekend in calm place with beatiful nature

The location is perfect, house is super cozy, and host was friendly.

Here is my objective opinion about what was not ok during my stay: - [WATER SMELLS] Water everywhere smells canalisation. Because of smell, I could not enjoy my shower after sauna, I could not brush my teeth. I could not even wash dishes as the smell was intense. - [NOT CLEAN] Bed sheets did not seem fresh, and there was hairs in bathroom (I do not wanna add pics here). - [SAUNA] The sauna was not good enough. For some reason the stones inside was not getting hot enough to be used. And, heating takes longer time because of small oven. - [NO FIREWOOD] They do not provide firewood, and owner said 1 package of firewood is enough for sauna. The closest shop is 15 mins by car. I went and bought 2 packages for both sauna and fireplace. Then I had to go again (which impacted my schedule) to buy 3 more firewood packages. Btw, 5 packages was enough only for couple of hours. - [CHECK IN] Owner first confirmed 12:00 is ok to check in, but then 13:00 was earliest we could agree on although there was no guests before us. - [CHECK OUT] When I explained owner that my day was messed up because of this issues and I would like to check out at 13:00 (instead of 12:00), he said it is not possible. I was there for 1 night, and it was very inconvenient to spend 1-1.5 hour just to buy firewood because of owner's wrong suggestion. I spent 35 euro to buy firewood, but instead I would be happier to pay extra 35-40 to owner if he did provide firewood in the house. And, I think there are discrepancies between what mentioned in description and what is real. I hope he will pay attention to these details to make it good place for guests.
